Onboarding & Orientation

A Calm, Guided Introduction to the Recovery Room

Your onboarding session is designed to help you feel informed, comfortable, and confident before you start using the Recovery Room.

This is not just a treatment session. It is a fully guided orientation and treatment process over three different sessions

You will get a chance to understand the space, the tools, and what makes sense for you. What This Session Is (and Isn’t)

This session is:

  • A guided walk-through of the Recovery RoomAn explanation of how each recovery tool works

  • A conversation about what you’re hoping to improveA chance to ask questions and go at your own paceA way to make sure everything feels appropriate and safeThis

Session is not:

  • A hard sell

  • A commitment to anything ongoing

  • A one-size-fits-all protocol

  • A replacement for medical care

  • The goal is clarity — not pressure.

Who Onboarding Is For

  • Onboarding is for those who:

  • Have not used a Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Session

  • You’re new to the Recovery Room

  • You’re unsure which tools are right for you

  • You’ve selected a recovery focus and want guidance

  • You feel cautious, anxious, or just want things explained

What Happens During Your Onboarding

During your session, we’ll:

  1. Talk through how you’ve been feeling and what brought you in

  2. Walk you through the Recovery Room space

  3. Explain how each tool is typically used

  4. Answer any questions honestly

  5. Discuss what a sensible starting approach looks like

  6. Make sure you feel comfortable before using anything

  7. Everything is guided.Nothing is rushed.

A Note on Comfort & Claustrophobia

If you’re unsure about enclosed spaces or feel anxious in certain environments, that’s completely normal.

We’ll talk this through during onboarding and make adjustments where needed. If something doesn’t feel right, we simply don’t use it. There is always an alternative.

What Happens After Onboarding

  1. After your onboarding sessions:

  2. Some people start with a more supportive phase to help things settle

  3. Others begin gently and build confidence over time

  4. Some decide to wait and come back later

  5.  There is no obligation to continue. You decide what happens next — with guidance.
